CURRENT LATEST VIDEO RELEASE:Cinema 4D Pyrocluster RevealedPyroCluster is the volumetric shading module for Cinema 4d. Pyrocluster enables photorealistic volumetric effects such as fire and smoke, as well as Hollywood-style explosions (think gasoline bomb) and stylized science (and science fiction) 'energy' effects like force fields, beams of electricity, and wormholes. It is a fully featured, yet extremely easy to use module, and it is fully integrated within Cinema 4d, unlike many of the other third party volumetric plug-ins available.

Multichannel stroke support allows for painting across many channels at once while working in the 3D View. Maxon's RayBrushTM technology lets you view the results of your painting in real-time without ever having to hit the render button.
Projection Painting in BodyPaint 3D allows you to virtually tattoo across UV seams and objects. Laying out UV's couldn't be easier in BodyPaint 3D. This software includes three automatic UV unwrapping algorithms, including the new Optimal Cubic Mapping system.
BodyPaint is included in Cinema 4D or as a stand alone application. Either way you use it, it becomes a powerful translator, albeit a bridge, between multiple CG applications. If you haven't learned how to use BodyPaint, then your only half way there!

Part 01 of RC Helicopter Cam Madness
cmiVFX Flying Remote control Iphone Video helicoptercmiVFX uses a T-Rex 450 Align RC helicopter and a custom gimbal from a camera tripod miniature to fly around a brand new iPhone 4 HD video camera.
The gimbal was used to stabilize footage from the shaking vibration of the helicopter. You will notice that the magnet from the gimbal and the electronics from the helicopter SOMETIMES cause strange banding in this demo video. We do have many test clips that dont have this... but by circumstance they were to shaky from wind gusts. This thing is DANGEROUS due to its very light weight. We are currently building a T-Rex 700 Electric Helicopter to carry a Canon 7D HDSLR video camera.
